dc.description.abstractSelfharm adalah tindakan melukai diri sendiri secara sengaja tanpa niat bunuh diri, yang kerap muncul sebagai respons terhadap tekanan emosional, khususnya pada remaja. Salah satu faktor protektif terhadap perilaku ini adalah resiliensi, yakni kemampuan individu untuk bangkit dari kesulitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh resiliensi terhadap perilaku selfharm pada siswa MTs Mualimin UNIVA Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Sampel sebanyak 240 siswa diperoleh melalui teknik cluster sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala resiliensi dan selfharm yang telah divalidasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa resiliensi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku selfharm dengan koefisien regresi sebesar -0,076 dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (p < 0,01), serta nilai koefisien determinasi R² sebesar 0,045, yang berarti resiliensi hanya menjelaskan 4,5% variasi perilaku selfharm. Nilai mean empirik resiliensi sebesar 52,79 (kategori tinggi) dan selfharm sebesar 33,41 (kategori sedang). Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan resiliensi siswa sebagai upaya preventif terhadap perilaku menyimpang. Selfharm is the act of deliberately injuring oneself without suicidal intent, often as a response to emotional distress, particularly among adolescents. One protective factor against such behavior is resilience—the individual's ability to recover from adversity. This study aimed to examine the effect of resilience on selfharm behavior among students at MTs Mualimin UNIVA Medan. A quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis was used. The sample consisted of 240 students selected using cluster sampling. Data were collected using validated resilience and selfharm behavior scales. The results showed a significant negative influence of resilience on selfharm, with a regression coefficient of -0.076 and a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.01). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.045, indicating that resilience accounts for 4.5% of the variance in selfharm behavior. The empirical mean score of resilience was 52.79 (categorized as high), while the selfharm score was 33.41 (categorized as moderate). These findings highlight the importance of resilience-building programs in schools as a preventive effort to reduce selfharming tendencies in adolescents.en_US
