dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran work engagement pada karyawan di dinas kependudukan dan pencatatan sipil kabupaten batu bara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 56 karyawan, peneliti menggunakan teknik total sampling. Bentuk pengukuran menggunakan skala dalam bentuk likert berdasarkan dimensi work engagement vigor, dedication, absorption. Hasil uji analisis deskriptif secara keseluruhan menunjukan work engagement karyawan pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis konstribusi terhadap dimensi work engagement yaitu vigor memiliki konstribusi 34,22%, dedication memiliki hasil konstribusi 46,47%, absorption memiliki hasil konstribusi 19,07%. Maka diketahui dedication memiliki konstribusi paling besar dari ketiga dimensi work engagement tersebut dengan hasil 46,47%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis demografi terhadap jenis kelamin kategori tinggi untuk vigor adalah perempuan, kategori tinggi dedication adalah perempuan, kategori tinggi absorption adalah perempuan, selain itu hasil work engagement berdasarkan analisis demografi jabatan kategori tinggi vigor adalah petugas operator. The purpose of this study is to examine the work engagement of employees at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Batu Bara Regency. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample used in this study was 56 employees, the researcher used a total sampling technique. The measurement form used a Likert scale based on the dimensions of work engagement vigor, dedication, and absorption. The results of the overall descriptive analysis test show that employee work engagement is in the high category. Based on the results of the contribution analysis test on the work engagement dimension, vigor has a contribution of 34.22%, dedication has a contribution of 46.47%, and absorption has a contribution of 19.07%. Therefore, it is known that dedication has the largest contribution of the three dimensions of work engagement with a result of 46.47%. Based on the results of the demographic analysis of gender, the high category for vigor is female, the high category for dedication is female, the high category for absorption is female. In addition, the results of work engagement based on the demographic analysis of positions in the high vigor category are service operators, the high category for dedication is service operators, and the high category for absorption is service operators.en_US
