dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan employee engagement antara Generasi X dan Generasi Y pada karyawan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil uji analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan antara kedua generasi (F = 57,148; p = 0,000 < 0,05), dengan nilai rata-rata Generasi Y (99,29) lebih tinggi dibandingkan Generasi X (98,47), meskipun keduanya tetap berada dalam kategori tinggi dan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Ditinjau berdasarkan divisi, Generasi X pada divisi keuangan memiliki tingkat employee engagement tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata (104,75), sedangkan Generasi Y pada divisi supply menunjukkan nilai tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata (103,25). Secara keseluruhan, divisi keuangan memiliki rata-rata employee engagement paling tinggi dibandingkan divisi lainnya. Selain itu, aspek cognitive engagement ditemukan lebih dominan dibanding aspek emotional engagement dan behavior engagement, yang menunjukkan bahwa baik Generasi X maupun Generasi Y memiliki pemahaman, kesadaran, serta keterikatan intelektual yang kuat terhadap pekerjaannya. This study aims to analyze the differences in employee engagement between Generation X and Generation Y employees at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. This study uses descriptive quantitative research. The results of the analysis indicate a significant difference between the two generations (F = 57.148; p = 0.000 < 0.05), with Generation Y having a higher average score (99.29) compared to Generation X (98.47), although both remain in the high category and there is no significant difference. When examined by division, Generation X in the finance division had the highest employee engagement level with an average score of 104.75, while Generation Y in the supply division had the highest average score of 103.25. Overall, the finance division has the highest average employee engagement compared to other divisions. Additionally, cognitive engagement was found to be more dominant than emotional engagement and behavioral engagement, indicating that both Generation X and Generation Y have strong understanding, awareness, and intellectual commitment to their work.en_US
