| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efikasi diri dalam menulis antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan di kelas XI SMK Brigjend Katamso Medan. Efikasi diri dalam menulis merupakan keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuannya dalam merencanakan, mengatur, dan menyelesaikan tugas menulis dengan baik. Penelitian ini melibatkan 80 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik quota sampling dari tiga jurusan: Akuntansi, Teknik Komputer Jaringan, dan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala efikasi menulis dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Samples T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam efikasi diri dalam menulis antara siswa laki- laki dan perempuan dilihat dari nilai P < .001. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap efikasi diri dalam menulis, serta implikasinya terhadap strategi pembelajaran yang dapat disesuaikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dalam merancang pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. This study aims to examine the differences in writing self-efficacy between male and female students in Grade XI at SMK Brigjend Katamso Medan. Writing self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their ability to plan, organize, and complete writing tasks effectively. The study involved 80 students selected through quota sampling from three majors: Accounting, Computer Network Engineering, and Software Engineering. Data were collected using a writing self-efficacy scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Independent Samples T-Test as seen from the P value < .001. The results showed a significant difference in writing self-efficacy between male and female students. These findings provide important insights into the influence of gender on writing self-efficacy and its implications for developing more adaptive teaching strategies. This research is expected to serve as a reference for educators in designing more effective and responsive learning approaches.. | en_US |
