This study aims to evaluate the Family Planning Program in controlling population growth in Simanaere Botomuzoi Village, Botomuzoi District, Nias Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The evaluation is based on six indicators by William N. Dunn: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. The results of the study indicate that the indicators of effectiveness, adequacy, equity, and appropriateness have been well implemented. However, the indicators of efficiency and responsiveness still face obstacles. Barriers to efficiency include limited healthcare facilities and a shortage of family planning field workers, while barriers to responsiveness involve feelings of shame and the perception of taboo among some community members regarding the use of contraceptives. Overall, the Family Planning Program in Simanaere Botomuzoi Village is considered quite significant in controlling the rate of population growth
