Abstract: Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas konseling kelompok dalam meningkatkan harga diri siswa kelas XI di SMA Kartika I-2 Medan. Dengan menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen berbasis pre-test dan post-test, harga diri diukur menggunakan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam harga diri pada kelompok eksperimen t = -7.9754 dan tingkat signifikansi p = 0.001, sementara kelompok kontrol tidak mengalami perubahan berarti t = -0.2036, dan tingkat signifikansi p = 0.849. Perbandingan post-test antar kelompok juga mengonfirmasi dampak kuat intervensi t = 3.9882, p = 0.016 (p < 0.050). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan harga diri siswa dan dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam program dukungan psikologis di sekolah. This study examined the effectiveness of group counseling in improving self-esteem of eleventh-grade students at SMA Kartika I-2 Medan. Using a quasi-experimental design based on pre-test and post-test, self-esteem was measured using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in self-esteem in the experimental group t = -7.9754 and a significance level of p = 0.001, while the control group did not experience significant changes t = -0.2036, and a significance level of p = 0.849. Post-test comparisons between groups also confirmed the strong impact of the intervention t = 3.9882, p = 0.016 (p < 0.050). These findings indicate that group counseling is effective in improving students' self-esteem and can be integrated into psychological support programs in schools.
