dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris dan mengetahui hubungan moral reasoning dengan academic dishonesty pada remaja di SMA AL- Hidayah Medan. peneliti menetapkan jumlah responden 69 remaja dengan menggunakan teknik purvosive sampling. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data pada skala moral reasoning dengan skala academic dishonesty menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisi data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis dengan metode analisis Korelasi r Product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar -0,632 dengan p = 0,000 > 0,05. Artinya ada hubungan antara moral reasoning dengan academic dishonesty. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima hal tersebut didapati dari hasil mean hipotetik dan empirik bahwa remaja SMA AL-Hidayah Medan memiliki academic dishonesty yang tergolong tinggi dengan nilai empirik 47,12 lebih besar dari nilai hipotetik yaitu 42,5 serta moral reasoning yang dimiliki remaja juga rendah dengan nilai empirik 28,45 lebih kecil dari nilai hipotetik yaitu 35. This study aims to empirically test and determine the relationship between moral reasoning and academic dishonesty in adolescents at SMA AL-Hidayah Medan. The researcher determined the number of respondents to 69 adolescents using purposive sampling techniques. The research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection on the moral reasoning scale with the academic dishonesty scale uses a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation technique. The results of the analysis using the r Product moment Correlation analysis method obtained a correlation value of -0.632 with p = 0.000 > 0.05. This means that there is a relationship between moral reasoning and academic dishonesty. So it can be concluded that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. This is found from the results of the hypothetical and empirical mean that adolescents at SMA AL-Hidayah Medan have academic dishonesty which is classified as high with an empirical value of 47.12 greater than the hypothetical value of 42.5 and moral reasoning owned by adolescents is also low with an empirical value of 28.45 smaller than the hypothetical value of 35.en_US
