dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter remajadi di Pusat Pengembangan Anak (PPA) IO0554 Medan berdasarkan lima aspek: moralitas, nilai-nilai, sikap, konsistensi, dan pengembangan diri. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 88 remaja berusia 15–18 tahun. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aspek moralitas memiliki skor rata-rata tertinggi sebesar 33,53, yang mencerminkan tingkat kejujuran dan tanggung jawab yang cukup baik. Aspek nilai-nilai dan sikap masing-masing memperoleh skor rata-rata 22,42 dan 22,68, menunjukkan adanya pemahaman dan penerapan nilai hidup yang masih berkembang. Sementara itu, aspek konsistensi dan pengembangan diri mencatat skor yang lebih rendah, yaitu 11,53 dan 11,07, mengindikasikan masih lemahnya kemampuan remaja dalam mempertahankan prinsip dan mengelola perkembangan pribadi. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya perhatian khusus dalam pembinaan karakter, terutama pada aspek yang masih lemah. This study aims to describe the character of adolescents at the Child Development Center (PPA) IO0554 Medan based on five aspects: morality, values, attitude, consistency, and self-development. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 88 adolescents aged 15–18 years. The results showed that the morality aspect had the highest average score of 33.53, reflecting a fairly good level of honesty and responsibility. The values and attitude aspects obtained average scores of 22.42 and 22.68, indicating a developing understanding and application of life values. Meanwhile, the consistency and self-development aspects recorded lower scores of 11.53 and 11.07, indicating a limited ability among adolescents to uphold principles and manage personal growth. These findings highlight the need for focused character development efforts, particularly in the weaker aspects.en_US
