Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara empiris bagaimana pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah W Medan. Metode yang digunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan ialah para guru yang mengajar di Sekolah Swasta W Medan yang berjumlah 135 guru. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 82 guru diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan regeresi sederhana didapatkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara stres kerja dengan kinerja guru. Selanjutnynya hasil perhitungan koefisien determnisasi terlihat bahwasanya ada pengaruh stres kerja terhadap Kinerja yang mana nilai koefisien determinasi (r2) ialah r2= 0,553. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwasanya stres kerja mempunyai kontribusi terhadap Kinerja sebesar 55.3%. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa stres kerja tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 72,5 dan mean empiriknya sebesar 94,06. Selanjutnya Kinerja dapat disimpulkan memperoleh hasil rendah dimana rara-rata kinerja guru berdasarkan data dokumentasi sebesar 53,38. The purpose of this study was to empirically determine how work stress affects teacher performance at W Medan School. The method used is a quantitative method. The population used was teachers who teach at W Medan Private School, totaling 135 teachers. The research sample of 82 teachers was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used was simple regression analysis. Based on the results of the simple regression calculation was obtained that there was a significant influence between work stress and teacher performance. Furthermore, the results of the determination coefficient calculation show that there is an influence of work stress on Performance where the determination coefficient value (r2) is r2 = 0.553. This shows that work stress has a contribution to Performance of 55.3%. Based on the results of the mean test, it can be concluded that work stress is classified as high with a hypothetical mean value of 72.5 and an empirical mean of 94.06. Furthermore, performance can be concluded to have low results where the average teacher performance based on documentation data is 53.38.
