dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-esteem dengan subjective well-being pada guru SLB-E Negeri PTP Kota Medan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Guru PNS yang mengajar di SLB-E Negeri PTP berjumlah 61 orang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 61 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah skala subjective well-being yang disusun berdasarkan aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Diener (2018) (30 item, dengan nilai validitas berkisar 0.011-0.693 yang terdapat pada kolom corrected item-total correlation dan reliabilitas α = .705) dan skala self-esteem yang disusun berdasarkan aspek yang dikemukakan oleh McKay (2016) (37 item, dengan nilai validitas berkisar 0.006-0.630 yang terdapat pada kolom corrected item-total correlation dan reliabilitas α = .788). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara self-esteem dengan subjective well-being (𝑟𝑥𝑦) = .589 dengan p = .000 (p < .05). Self-esteem memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 34,6% terhadap subjective well-being. This research aimed to determine the correlation between self-esteem and subjective well-being among teachers at SLB-E Negeri PTP Medan City. The population in this study was 61 civil servant teachers teaching at SLB-E Negeri PTP. The research sample consisted of 61 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The measurement tools used in the research were the subjective well-being scale compiled based on aspects proposed by Diener (2018) (30 items, with validity values ranging from 0.011-0.693 in the corrected item-total correlation column and reliability α = .705) and the self-esteem scale compiled based on aspects proposed by McKay (2016) (37 items, with validity values ranging from 0.006-0.630 in the corrected item-total correlation column and reliability α = .788). Data analysis used was product moment correlation. The results of this study indicate a positive relationship between self- esteem and subjective well-being r = .589 with p = .000 (p < .05). Self-esteem contributes effectively by 34.6% to subjective well-being.en_US
