Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji secara empiris hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan Work Engagement pada Pegawai Kantor Camat Padang Bulan Selayang II Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Pegawai Kantor Camat Bagian Lingkungan Padang Bulan Selayang II Medan yang berjumlah 62 pegawai. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, yaitu seluruh pegawai populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode analisis korelasional, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Self Efficacy dengan Work Engagement dilihat koefisien (rxy) = 0,723 dengan p = 0,000 < 0,01. Hasil ini menunjukkan hipotesis yang diajukan diterima, semakin tinggi Self Efficacy maka semakin tinggi juga Work Engagement, dan sebaliknya, serta nilai koefisien determinan R² = 0,522. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Self Efficacy berkontribusi sebesar 52,2% terhadap Work Engagement. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean hipotetik dan empirik Self Efficacy dalam kategori rendah dapat diketahui perhitungan mean hipotetik = 52,5 dan mean empirik = 49,37 dan untuk Work Engagement mean hipotetik dan empirik juga rendah dengan mean hipotetik = 57,5 dan mean empirik 50,10 This study aims to determine and empirically test the correlation between Self Efficacy and work engagement among employees of the Padang Bulan Selayang II Medan District Office. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The population in this study were all employees of the Padang Bulan Selayang II Medan District Office, totaling 62 employees. The number of samples in this study used a total sampling technique, namely all population employees were used as research samples. Based on the results of data analysis using correlational analysis methods, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between Self-Efficacy and Work Engagement seen from the coefficient (rxy) = 0.723 with p = 0.000 <0.01. These results indicate that the proposed hypothesis is accepted, the higher the Self Efficacy, the higher the Work Engagement, and vice versa, and the value of the determinant coefficient R² = 0.522. This indicates that Self Efficacy contributes 52.2% to Work Engagement. Based on the results of the hypothetical and empirical mean tests, Self Efficacy is in the low category, with the hypothetical mean calculated at 52.5 and the empirical mean at 49.37. For Work Engagement, the hypothetical and empirical means are also low, with the hypothetical mean at 57.5 and the empirical mean at 50.10.
