| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh antara pola asuh otoriter orangtua dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa/i di UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kamping Rakyat. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya pengaruh negatif antara pola asuh otoriter orangtua dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa/i di UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat yang sebanyak 56 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data sampel ialah menggunakan purposive sampling yang diambil dengan menggunakan kriteria orangtua yang berlatang belakang pola asuh otoriter. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala pola asuh otoriter orangtua dan penyesuaian diri. Analisis data menggunakan analisis produk moment. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di mana pola asuh otoriter berkontribusi 76,4% terhadap penyesuaian diri. Berdasarkan perbandingan dari kedua nilai rata- rata yaitu mean hipotetikdan mean empirik, maka bisa dinyatakan bahwa pola asuh otoriter pada siswa/i UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat tergolong tinggi, di mana mean empiriknya 112,30 lebih besar dibandingkan dengan mean hipotetiknya yaitu 80 dengan nilai SD 16,627. Dan untuk penyesuaian diri pada siswa/i UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat tergolong tinggi, yang di mana mean empiriknya16,143, lebih besar dibandingkan dengan mean hipotetiknya yaitu 75 dengan nilai 110,41. This research aims to observe the effect of authoritarian parenting style on self- adjustment among students at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat. The proposed hypothesis was that there was a negative effect between authoritarian parenting style and self-adjustment among students at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat, with a total of 56 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with criteria being parents who applied authoritarian parenting. The method of data collection was the authoritarian parenting scale and self-adjustment scale. Data were analyzed using product moment analysis. Based on the research results, authoritarian parenting contributed 76.4% to self- adjustment. Based on the comparison between the two mean values, namely the hypothetical mean and the empirical mean, it could be stated that the authoritarian parenting style among students at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat was categorized as high, with an empirical mean of 112.30, which was higher than the hypothetical mean of 80 with an SD value of 16.627. Regarding self-adjustment among students at UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Kampung Rakyat, it was also categorized as high, with an empirical mean of 116.143, which was higher than the hypothetical mean of 75 with an SD value of 110.41. | en_US |
