| dc.description.abstract | Pupuk organik cair (POC) dari limbah ampas tebu berpotensi sebagai alternatif pemupukan ramah lingkungan untuk tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan lima perlakuan konsentrasi POC (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%) dan lima ulangan. Ampas tebu difermentasi dengan EM4 dan molase selama dua minggu, kemudian diaplikasikan pada tanaman sawi dalam polybag. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan bobot segar selama enam minggu. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan POC ampas tebu tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan (p>0,05). Karakteristik POC menunjukkan pH 3,4-3,6 dengan warna cokelat kekuningan hingga gelap. Disimpulkan bahwa POC ampas tebu belum efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman sawi, diduga karena rasio C/N tinggi, kandungan lignin sulit terdekomposisi, dan mineralisasi nutrisi belum optimal. Liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from sugarcane bagasse waste has potential as an environmentally friendly fertilizer alternative for mustard greens (Brassica juncea). This study used a completely randomized design with five LOF concentration treatments (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) and five replications. Sugarcane bagasse was fermented with EM4 and molasses for two weeks, then applied to mustard greens planted in polybags. Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight over six weeks. Analysis of variance showed that sugarcane bagasse LOF had no significant effect on all growth parameters (p>0.05). LOF characteristics showed pH 3.4-3.6 with yellowish-brown to dark brown color. It was concluded that sugarcane bagasse LOF was not yet effective in improving mustard green growth, presumably due to high C/N ratio, difficult-todecompose lignin content, and suboptimal nutrient mineralization. | en_US |
