Fermented domestic wastewater from rice washing can be used as an effective liquid organic fertilizer. Pak choy (Brassica rapa L.) offers significant potential to meet domestic market demand. This study aims to determine the effect of providing liquid organic fertilizer from rice washing water on the growth of pak choy mustard plants (Brassica rapa L.). Experimental research uses an in vivo fermentation method. POC production is carried out through fermentation for 22 days using the main ingredients of rice washing water, molasses, and EM-4. Data obtained parameters of plant height, number of leaves, and plant weight with various doses of POC administration (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). The results show that POC from rice washing water has the potential to increase plant height growth in the early phase (14-35 HST) especially at a high dose (100%). However, in the final phase of plant growth (42 HST) the difference between treatments is no longer significant. In the growth of the number of leaves in the early phase (14 HST) has not shown a significant effect and entering the phase (21-35 HST) shows an active vegetative phase of a high increase in the number of leaves compared to the treatment, while (42 HST) is not significantly different because the phase is approaching the generative. The growth of wet plant weight has a significant effect on plants with a concentration of (100%) with the highest average result. |
