dc.description.abstractTenaga Pendidik yang memiliki work engagement akan menghasilkan kinerja yang optimal yang berdampak positif bagi mahasiswa, masyarakat dan universitas. Sehingga, work engagement penting dimiliki oleh setiap individu yang bekerja dalam organisasi terutama sebagai tenaga pendidik. Work engagement adalah suatu tingkatan yang menunjukkan sampai seberapa jauh seseorang mampu mengidentifikasikan diri secara psikologis dengan pekerjaan nya, atau sampai seberapa penting pekerjaan bagi dirinya, atau juga internalisasi tentang manfaat kerja bagi kehidupan seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data Structural Equation Model (SEM). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu total sampling, dan jumlah sampel adalah 177 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala psychological empowerment, skala work engagement, dan skala perceived organizational support. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa perceived organizational support merupakan variabel intervening atau mediasi yang baik dalam upaya meningkatkan work engagement Tenaga Pendidik (GADIK) di SPN. Berdasarkan hasil analisis direct effect maupun indirect effect juga didapatkan hasil bahwa pengaruh langsung psychological empowerment terhadap work engagement lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan pengaruh tidak langsungnya antara psychological empowerment terhadap work engagement melalui perceived organizational support yang menandakan bahwa perceived organizational support merupakan variabel mediasi yang baik untuk meningkatkan pengaruh psychological empowerment terhadap work engagement. Educators who have work engagement will produce optimal performance that positively impacts students, society, and the university. Therefore, work engagement is important for every individual working in an organization, especially as an educator.Work engagement is a level that indicates how far a person can psychologically identify with their job, how important the job is to them, or the internalization of the benefits of work for a person's life.This research uses a quantitative method with Structural Equation Model (SEM) data analysis technique.The sampling technique used is total sampling, and the sample size is 177 people.The data collection methods used are the psychological empowerment scale, the work engagement scale, and the perceived organizational support scale.The research results indicate that perceived organizational support is a good intervening or mediating variable in efforts to enhance the work engagement of Educator Personnel (GADIK) at SPN.Based on the analysis of both direct and indirect effects, it was found that the direct effect of psychological empowerment on work engagement is smaller compared to its indirect effect on work engagement through perceived organizational support. This indicates that perceived organizational support is a good mediating variable to enhance the influence of psychological empowerment on work engagement.en_US
