Pengaruh Kepercayaan Diri terhadap Komunikasi Interpersonal pada Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Stambuk 2021-2023 Universitas Medan Area

Abstract

Kepercayaan diri adalah faktor kunci yang memengaruhi cara seseorang berkomunikasi dengan orang lain. Komunikasi interpersonal ( antarpribadi ) merupakan pertemuan dari paling sedikit dua orang yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pesan dan informasi secara langsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kepercayaan Diri Terhadap Komunikasi Interpersonal Pada Mahasiswa lmu Komunikasi Stambuk 2021-2023 Universitas Medan Area. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner kepada 83 responden Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Stambuk 2021-2023 Universitas Medan Area. Data diolah menggunakan software SPSS 30. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dibuat, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kepercayaan diri terhadap komunikasi interpersonal yang ditunjukkan oleh ttabel sebesar 1,989 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Maka dari hasil tersebut nilai thitung > ttabel (8,907 > 1,989) dan nilai signifikansi (0,001 < 0,05). Self-confidence is a key factor that influences how a person communicates with others. Interpersonal communication is a meeting of at least two people with the aim of conveying messages and information directly. This study aims to determine the Effect of Self-Confidence on Interpersonal Communication in Communication Science Students of the 2021-2023 Medan Area University. This study uses a quantitative method using descriptive analysis techniques and collecting data through questionnaires to 83 respondents of Communication Science Students of the 2021-2023 Medan Area University. The data was processed using SPSS 30 software. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been made, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between selfconfidence and interpersonal communication which is shown by the t table of 1.989 at a significance level of 0.05. Therefore, from these results, the calculated t value> t table (8.907 > 1.989) and the significance value (0.001 < 0.05).
