| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi komunikasi krisis yang diterapkan oleh Raulla Project, sebuah Event Organizer (EO) berbasis K-Pop di Kota Medan, menggunakan pendekatan Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT). Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi selama krisis event dan memahami hambatan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data utama diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dengan lima anggota inti Raulla Project, serta triangulasi untuk memvalidasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Raulla Project sering menghadapi krisis teknis, seperti kerusakan alat, serta masalah dengan sponsor yang berdampak signifikan pada reputasi EO. Strategi yang digunakan cenderung adaptif, terutama strategi "Rebuild", di mana Raulla Project mengambil tanggung jawab penuh atas kerugian dengan memberikan kompensasi kepada peserta menggunakan dana internal. Namun, kasus besar seperti penipuan sponsor dan miskomunikasi menyebabkan dampak negatif yang berkepanjangan pada reputasi Raulla Project.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya validasi mitra kerja yang ketat, perencanaan yang matang, dan komunikasi publik yang transparan dalam mengelola krisis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi EO lain dalam meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen krisis dan mempertahankan reputasi organisasi. This study examines the crisis communication strategies employed by Raulla Project, a K-Pop-focused Event Organizer (EO) in Medan, using the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT). It identifies strategies implemented during event crises and explores the challenges they face. This qualitative research uses a descriptive approach, including in-depth interviews with five core Raulla Project members, and triangulation to validate the data. Findings reveal recurring crises, such as technical issues (e.g., equipment failure) and significant sponsor-related problems that impacted the EO's reputation. Raulla Project often employed the "Rebuild" strategy from SCCT, taking full responsibility by compensating affected parties using personal funds. However, major crises like sponsor fraud and poor communication exacerbated negative public perceptions, leaving lasting impacts on their reputation. The study concludes that stronger sponsor validation, comprehensive planning, and transparent public communication are vital for effective crisis management. These improvements can help organizations handle similar challenges in the future. This research provides insights and practical recommendations for other EOs aiming to enhance crisis management and safeguard their organizational reputation. | en_US |
