This study aims to analyze the factors and levels of anxiety most commonly experienced by final year students in the psychology faculty at UMA when writing their thesis. The research method used is quantitative with a population of final semester students from the 2021 cohort and a sample of 124 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection employed a Likert scale with 32 statement items. The normalization test was analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov goodness of fit test, with the anxiety scale having a p (sig) value of 0.164 > 0.05, indicating that the scale has a normal distribution. The results of the Factor Analysis Test using KMO and Bartlett's Test show a value of 103.007 with a significance level of 0.000, which is significant and allows for continuation since the KMO value is greater than 0.5 and the significance P value is less than 0.05. Based on the results of the Principal Component Analysis, the factors affecting anxiety from highest to lowest are the supervising lecturer factor at 86%, peer factor at 62%, family factor at 57%, and environmental factor at 48%. The results indicate that the average anxiety score of final year students is classified as high, based on an empirical mean of 89.83, which is greater than the hypothetical mean of 72.5.
