Sleep disorders are commonly experienced by students due to various academic, social, and psychological pressures. In this situation, intrapersonal communication—the process of talking to oneself plays a crucial role in understanding and managing sleep disturbances. This study aims to explore the intrapersonal communication experiences of students suffering from sleep disorders using a phenomenological approach. This study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the subjective experiences of the participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students experiencing sleep disturbances. The analysis was conducted by examining their thought patterns, internal conversations, and self-reflections within intrapersonal communication. The findings reveal that students with sleep disorders exhibit various intrapersonal communication patterns, such as negative self-talk, overthinking, and the use of coping strategies to manage stress and anxiety. Additionally, intrapersonal communication influences how they develop sleep habits and handle sleep-related issues. Some students successfully develop more adaptive intrapersonal communication, while others fall into thought patterns that worsen their sleep disorders. This study concludes that intrapersonal communication plays a significant role in the psychological aspects of students with sleep disorders. It is expected to provide insights for students, educators, and mental health professionals in developing more effective strategies to manage sleep disturbances through intrapersonal communication approaches.en_US
