Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Harga Diri pada Wanita Dewasa Awal yang Mengalami Toxic Relationship di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan harga diri pada wanita dewasa awal yang mengalami toxic relationship Difakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Penelitiann ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini 512 orang mahasiswi dewasa awal stambuk 2018 dengan sampel sebanyak 54. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan bentuk skala likert. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan harga diri pada wanita dewasa awal Di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan secara hipotetik dan empiric, harga diri tergolong rendah sebab nilai hipotetik sebesar 75 dan empiricnya 58,18 dan dukungan sosial tergolong rendah sebab nilai hipotetiknya 75 dan empiricnya 57,67. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar rᵪᵧ=0,643 dengan nilai signifikansi p= 0,001 > 0,05. Artinya ada hubungan positif antara harga diri dengan dukungan sosial. Sumbangan efektif dari harga diri mempengaruhi dukungan sosial sebesar 58,7% dukungan sosial dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti: emosional, instrumental dan informasi. The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between social support and self-esteem in early adult women at the Faculty of Psychology, Medan Area University. Based on the results of hypothetical and empirical calculations, self-esteem is classified as low because the hypothetical value is 75 and the empirical is 58.18 and social support is classified as low because the hypothetical value is 75 and the empirical is 57.67. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient of rᵪᵧ = 0.643 with a significance value of p = 0.001 > 0.05. This means that there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and social support. The effective contribution of self-esteem affects social support by 58.7% social support is influenced by other factors such as: emotional, instrumental and information.
