| Abstract: | Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Fraktur Material Keramik Berbentuk Cakram dengan Takik V Akibat Beban Dinamis. This research is entitled Fracture Analysis of Disc-Shaped Ceramic Material with V-Notch Due to Dynamic Load. The main problem addressed in this study is how to analyze the fracture of disc-shaped ceramic materials with a V-notch under dynamic loading. The background of this research lies in the brittle nature of ceramics, which makes them prone to cracking, especially in the presence of geometric defects such as notches. The objective of this research is to create, test, and analyze the fracture behavior of disc-shaped ceramic materials with a V-notch under dynamic load. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Data analysis techniques were carried out by evaluating stress distribution patterns, stress concentration at the tip of the notch, and crack propagation paths. This research is based on the theory of Linear Elastic Fracture Mechanics (LEFM) to predict the initiation point and development of fractures. The results show that the V-notch significantly increases the stress concentration at the tip of the notch, which becomes the critical point of crack initiation. The smaller the notch angle, the greater the maximum stress, causing cracks to form and spread more quickly. Dynamic loads accelerate crack propagation compared to static loads, especially at high frequencies. Therefore, the design of ceramic components containing notches needs to consider the notch geometry and loading conditions to prevent premature structural failure. |
