The objectives of this study are (1) to make a disc-shaped gypsum rod impact test specimen on the U notch due to dynamic load. (2) test the impact test specimen of disc-shaped gypsum material rods on the U notch due to dynamic loads. (3) analysis of the fracture entity of disc-shaped gypsum material on the U notch due to dynamic load. The method used in this study is an experimental method. After making the specimen, static tests and dynamic tests were carried out. The test equipment used was a Hopkinson machine, disc mold, gypsum flakes, digital scales, plastic basins and raw materials used gypsum, and water. The result of this study is that the specimens that have been worked on are notches with a depth of 10 mm, notches with a depth of 15 mm and notches with a depth of 20 mm. The result was a voltage value (σ) of a notch with a depth of 10 mm based on a static test of 10.45 MPa, a notch with a depth of 15 mm of 3.91 MPa, a notch with a depth of 20 mm of 3.32 MPa and a voltage value (σ) of a notch with a depth of 10 mm based on a static test of 0.4 MPa, a notch with a depth of 15 mm of 0.3 MPa, a notch with a depth of 20 mm of 0.2 MPa. The result of the strain value (%) of notches with a depth of 10 mm based on a static test of 0.06%, notches with a depth of 15 mm of 0.065%, notches with a depth of 20 mm of 0.058% and strain values (%) of notches with a depth of 10 mm based on static tests of 0.054%, notches with a depth of 15 mm of 0.057%, notches with a depth of 20 mm of 0.06%. |
