| dc.description.abstract | Kurang stabilnya produksi cabai rawit disebabkan oleh banyak faktor diantaranya, luas panen, pengelolaan tanah, serangan OPT, kerontokan bunga dan kondisi lahan. Dari berbagai faktor tersebut, pengelolaan tanah dan kerontokan bunga merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi produksi tanaman cabai rawit, sehingga menghasilkan kualitas dan mutu buah cabai rawit rendah yang rendah. Salah satu upaya dalam menghadapi pengelolaan tanah dan kerontokan bunga dan buah cabai rawit yaitu dengan menggunakan kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan pupuk KCl. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk KCl terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. Untuk mengetahui kombinasi perlakuan kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan pupuk KCl terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 2 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 4 taraf: Perlakuan kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit (T) : T0 = Kontrol ( tanpa perlakuan ); T1 = 10 tan/Ha; T2 = 20 ton/Ha; T3 = 30 ton/Ha. Perlakuan Pupuk KCl (K): K0= Kontrol (tanpa perlakuan); K1= 200 kg/Ha; K2= 400 kg/Ha; K3= 600 kg/Ha. Parameter Pengamatan terdiri dari : Tinggi Tanaman (cm), Jumlah Daun (helai), Jumlah Cabang Produktif, Berat Buah Persampel (g), dan Berat Buah Perplot (g). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan pemberian kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit ( TKKS) 30 ton /Ha memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter Jumlah Cabang Produktif, Berat Buah Persampel (g) dan Berat Buah Per Plot( g) dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman (cm) dan Jumlah Daun (helai). Pemberian Pupuk KCl menunjukan pengaruh nyata pada parameter Jumlah Cabang Produktif(buah), Berat Buah Persampel (g) dan Berat Buah Per Plot( g) dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter Tinggi tanaman (cm), dan Jumlah Daun (helai). Kombinasi perlakuan menunjukan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter Tinggi tanaman (cm), Jumlah Daun (helai) Jumlah Cabang Produktif, Berat Buah Persampel (g) dan Berat Buah Per Plot( g). The unstable production of cayenne pepper is caused by many factors including, harvest area, soil management, OPT attacks, flower shedding and land conditions. Of the various factors, soil management and flower shedding are one of the factors that greatly affect the production of cayenne pepper plants, resulting in low quality and quality of cayenne pepper fruit. One of the efforts in dealing with soil management and flower and fruit shedding of cayenne pepper is by using empty oil palm bunch compost and potassium fertilizer. The objectives of this study were: To determine the effect of giving empty oil palm bunch compost on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. To determine the effect of giving potassium fertilizer on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. To determine the combination of empty oil palm bunch compost and potassium fertilizer treatments on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) method consisting of 2 treatments and each treatment consisting of 4 levels: Empty oil palm bunch compost treatment (T): T0= Control (no treatment); T1 = 10 tons/Ha; T2 = 20 tons/Ha; T3= 30 tons/Ha. Potassium Fertilizer Treatment (K): K0 = Control (without treatment); K1 = 200 kg/Ha; K2 = 400 kg/Ha; K3 = 600 kg/Ha. Observation parameters consist of: Plant Height (cm), Number of Leaves (strands), Number of Productive Branches, Fruit Weight Per Sample (g), and Fruit Weight Per Plot (g). The results of this study indicate that the provision of 30 tons/Ha of oil palm empty bunch compost (TKKS) has a very significant effect on the parameters of Number of Productive Branches, Fruit Weight Per Sample (g) and Fruit Weight Per Plot(g) and has no significant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm) and Number of Leaves (strands). The provision of Potassium Fertilizer shows a significant effect on the parameters of Number of Productive Branches, Fruit Weight Per Sample (g) and FruitWeight Per Plot (g) and has no significant effect on the parameters of Plant Height (cm), Number of Leaves (strands). The combination of treatments showed no significant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of productive branches, fruit weight per sample (g) and fruit weight per plot (g). | en_US |
