| dc.description.abstract | Perkembangan industri E-Sport di Indonesia menunjukkan tren yang sangat pesat, terutama dengan diakuinya E-Sport sebagai cabang olahraga resmi dalam PON XXI 2024 dan dikeluarkannya Perpres No. 19 Tahun 2024 tentang pengembangan Abstrak industri game nasional. Kota Medan sebagai salah satu kota terbesar di Indonesia memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi pusat E-Sport di wilayah barat Indonesia. Namun, belum tersedianya infrastruktur khusus yang memadai menjadi hambatan utama dalam pengembangan ekosistem E-Sport secara profesional. Perancangan E-Sport Center di Kota Medan sebagai wadah multifungsi yang mencakup fasilitas kompetisi, pelatihan, penginapan atlet, serta produksi konten kreatif digital. Perancangan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur Zaha Hadid yang dikenal dengan gaya dinamis, futuristik, dan bebas dari bentuk konvensional. Konsep yang diusung menekankan fluiditas ruang, keberlanjutan lingkungan, serta integrasi teknologi untuk mendukung aktivitas E-Sport yang profesional dan berdaya saing internasional. Hasil dari perancangan ini diharapkan menjadi landmark arsitektur baru di Kota Medan sekaligus memperkuat ekosistem E-Sport sebagai bagian dari industri kreatif digital Indonesia. The development of the E-Sport industry in Indonesia is showing rapid growth, especially with its recognition as an official sport in the 2024 PON XXI and the issuance of Presidential Regulation No. 19 of 2024 concerning the development of the national game industry. As one of the largest cities in Indonesia, Medan holds great potential to become the E-Sport hub for the western region of the country. However, the lack of adequate and dedicated infrastructure remains a major obstacle in the professional development of the E-Sport ecosystem. This final project proposes the design of an E-Sport Center in Medan as a multifunctional facility that includes competition arenas, training areas, athlete accommodations, and digital content production studios. The design adopts the architectural approach of Zaha Hadid, known for her dynamic, futuristic, and non-conventional forms. The concept emphasizes spatial fluidity, environmental sustainability, and the integration of technology to support a professional and internationally competitive E-Sport environment. The outcome of this design is expected to become a new architectural landmark in Medan and strengthen the E-Sport ecosystem as part of Indonesia’s digital creative industry. | en_US |
