Pengaruh Leverage dan Perputaran Modal Kerja terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan Sub Sektor Industri yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2019-2023

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh leverage dan perputaran modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan-perusahaan sub sektor industri yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2019–2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan objek penelitian berupa perusahaan sub sektor industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada rentang waktu tersebut. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh perusahaan dalam sub sektor industri yang tercatat di BEI selama tahun 2019-2023. Melalui metode purposive sampling, terpilih 6 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan mencakup uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi data panel, uji t (parsial), uji F (simultan), dan analisis koefisien determinasi, yang seluruhnya diolah menggunakan eviews versi 12. Berdasarkan hasil uji t secara parsial, ditemukan bahwa baik leverage maupun perputaran modal kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sementara itu, hasil uji F secara simultan juga menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan sub sektor industri di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode penelitian. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa leverage dan perputaran modal kerja mampu menjelaskan variabilitas profitabilitas sebesar 61,6%. This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage and working capital turnover on profitability in industrial sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2023 period. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the object of research in the form of industrial sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in that time span. The population in this study includes all companies in the industrial sub-sector listed on the IDX during 2019-2023. Through the purposive sampling method, 6 companies were selected that fit the criteria as research samples. The data analysis techniques used include classical assumption test, panel data regression analysis, t test (partial), F test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination analysis, all of which are processed using EViews version 12. Based on the partial t test results, it is found that both leverage and working capital turnover have a significant influence on profitability. Meanwhile, the results of the simultaneous F test also show that the two variables together have a significant influence on the profitability of industrial sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the study period. The coefficient of determination shows that leverage and working capital turnover are able to explain the variability of profitability by 61.6%.
