| Abstract: | Jamur Cordyceps militaris dikenal di dunia perkebunan kelapa sawit sebagai musuh alami hama ulat api Setothosea asigna. Viabilitas spora Media solid menghasilkan viabilitas spora tertinggi sebesar 54,4%, sedangkan media beras memiliki viabilitas spora sebesar 51,4%. Cordyceps militaris fungus is known in the world of oil palm plantations as a natural enemy of the fire caterpillar pest Setothosea asigna. This fungus is one of the 3 main entomopathogenic fungi used to control pests in oil palm plantations. The study aims to determine the growth power of Cordyceps militaris on Solid media and Palm Oil Mill Waste Fiber media. Development of the effect of propagation media on the growth of C. militaris. The results of the study of spores produced from media propagation seen macroscopically (visually) have the same color as PDA media, and Spores produced from propagation do not significantly affect the shape of C. militaris spores. The treatment response in the development of C. militaris on several solid media significantly affects spore density, spore viability and media weight loss. Spore viability Solid media produced the highest spore viability of 54.4%, while rice media had a spore viability of 51.4% |
