| Abstract: | Kurang stabilnya produksi jagung manis disebabkan oleh banyak faktor diantaranya, luas panen jagung, permintaan jagung, produksi jagung, dan kualitas tanah. Dari berbagai faktor tersebut kualitas tanah merupakan salah satu faktor yang paling mempengaruhi produksi tanaman jagung manis. Salah satu upaya dalam menghadapi berbagai faktor tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan kompos kotoran sapi dan biosaka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai konsentrasi Biosaka dan kompos kotoran sapi serta kombinasi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung manis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 2 perlakuan Biosaka (0,40,80,120 ml/liter) dan Kompos Kotoran Sapi (0,10,20,30 ton/Ha). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pemberian biosaka tidak berpengaruh nyata pada panjang tongkol tanpa klobot persampel, jumlah baris biji dan bobot tongkol berklobot per plot. Namun, berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun,luas daun, diameter tongkol, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot per tanaman sampel dan bobot tongkol tanpa klobot per plot tanaman jagung manis (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). Pemberian kompos kotoran sapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang tongkol tanpa klobot per sampel,bobot tongkol tanpa klobot per tanaman sampel, bobot tongkol tanpa klobot per plot, jumlah baris biji dan bobot tongkol berklobot per plot. Namun, memberikan pengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan diameter tongkol tanmanan jagung manis (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt). The instability of sweet corn production is caused by many factors, including the area harvested, corn demand, corn production, and soil quality. Of these factors, soil quality is one of the most influential factors in sweet corn production. One effort to address these factors is the use of cow manure compost and biosaka. The objectives of this study were: To determine the effect of various concentrations of biosaka and cow manure compost, as well as their combination, on the growth and production of sweet corn plants. This study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of 2 treatments of Biosaka (0,40,80,120 ml/liter) and Cow Manure Compost (0,10,20,30 tons/Ha). The results of this study showed that the application of biosaka had no significant effect on the length of the cob without husk per sample, the number of seed rows and the weight of the cob with husk per plot. However, it had a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, cob diameter, weight of the cob without husk per sample plant and weight of the cob without husk per plot of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). The application of cow manure compost had no significant effect on the number of leaves, leaf area, length of the cob without husk per sample, weight of the cob without husk per sample plant, weight of the cob without husk per plot, number of seed rows and weight of the cob with husk per plot. However, it has a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, and cob diameter of sweet corn plants (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt). |
