dc.description.abstractTanaman kelapa sawit merupakan golongan famili palmae yang mempunyai potensi minyak nabati yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan tanaman lainnya. Pembibitan tanaman kelapa sawit yang dilakukan pada lahan gambut pada umumnya memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda sehingga perlu mengaplikasikan pupuk organik sebagai pengganti pupuk organik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan vegetatif bibit kelapa sawit (elaeis guineensis jacq) varietas d x p di main nursery umur 3 sampai 6 bulan akibat pengunaan media tanam tanah gambut dan abu tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial yang terdiri dari 4 taraf pelakuan yaitu; M0 = Kontrol (Subsoil), M1 = Tanah Gambut + Abu Tandan Kosong (Volume 3:1), M2 = Tanah Gambut + Abu Tandan Kosong (Volume 1:1), M3 = Tanah Gambut + Abu Tandan Kosong (Volume 1:3). Hasil penelitian pada perlakuan kombinasi berbagai media tanam menunjukkan respon yang sangat nyata tinggi bibit, diameter batang, jumlah daun dan volume akar bibit kelapa sawit sampai umur 6 bulan. Perlakuan M2 (media tanam tanah gambut dan abu tandan kosong 1:1) menghasilkan pertumbuhan bibit yang terbaik dan sangat nyata. Oil palm plants are a group of the palmae family that have high vegetable oil potential compared to other plants. Oil palm plant nurseries carried out on peatlands generally have different effects so that it is necessary to apply organic fertilizers as a substitute for organic fertilizers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings (elaeis guineensis jacq) d x p varieties in the main nursery aged 3 to 6 months due to the use of peat soil and empty oil palm bunch ash as a planting medium. This research method uses a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely; M0 = Control (Subsoil), M1 = Peat Soil + Empty Bunch Ash (Volume 3: 1), M2 = Peat Soil + Empty Bunch Ash (Volume 1: 1), M3 = Peat Soil + Empty Bunch Ash (Volume 1: 3). The results of the study on the combination treatment of various planting media showed a very real response to seedling height, stem diameter, number of leaves and root volume of oil palm seedlings up to 6 months of age. The M2 treatment (planting medium of peat soil and empty bunch ash 1:1) produced the best and most obvious seedling growth.en_US
