Abstract: MAYA SARI MARBUN 218210012, Pemanfaatan Abu Janjang Kelapa Sawit dan Biochar Arang Sekam Padi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) di Pre Nursery Skripsi dibawah Bimbingan Ibu Dwika Karima Wardani, S.P., M.P, selaku dosen pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Abu janjang kosong kelapa sawit dan biochar sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery, untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi pemberian Abu janjang kosong kelapa sawit dan biochar arang sekam padi terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery. Untuk salah satu syarat mendapatkan gelar Sarjana Pertanian di fakultas pertanian Universitas Medan Area. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di Jalan PBSI Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat 22 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpi), topografi datar, dilaksanakan sejak bulan Oktober 2024 sampai Februari 2025. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian mi adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan yaitu: 1) Faktor dosis abu janjang kosong (A) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yakni A0 kontrol (tanpa abu janjang kosong). A1 abu janjang kosong 250 gr/polybag. A2 abu janjang kosong 500 gr/polybag, A4 abu janjang kosong 750 gopolybag, dan 2) Faktor dosis biochar sekam padi (B) terdiri dan 3 taraf, yakni B0 Kontrol (tanpa biochar Arang sekam padi), B1 biochar arang sekam padi 100 gr/polybag, B2 biochar Arang sekam padi 200 gr/polybag, masing-masing taraf perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 (dua) kali, dengan parameter pengamatan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan panjang akar Dari hasil penelitian ini di peroleh 1) Pemberian abu janjang kosong berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan diamter batang dan panjang akar, 2) pemberian biochar Arang sekam padi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, Jumlah daun. Diameter batang dan panjang akar, 3) kombinası kedua faktor perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggs tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, luas daun dan panjang akar MAYA SARI MARBUN 218210012, Utilization of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Ash and Rice Husk Charcoal Biochar on the Growth of Oil Palm Seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in Pre Nursery Thesis under the guidance of Mrs. Dwika Karima Wardani, S.P., M.P, as a supervisor. This study aims to determine the effect of providing oil palm empty bunch ash and rice husk biochar on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the pre nursery, to determine the effect of the combination of providing oil palm empty bunch ash and rice husk biochar on the vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings in the pre nursery. For one of the requirements to obtain a Bachelor of Agriculture degree at the Faculty of Agriculture, Medan Area University. This research was conducted in the experimental field of Medan Area University located on Jalan PBSI Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District with an altitude of 22 meters above sea level (mdpi), flat topography, carried out from October 2024 to February 2025. The design used in this research was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), which consisted of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1) Empty bunch ash dose factor (A) consisting of 4 levels, namely A0 control (without empty bunch ash). A1 empty bunch ash 250 gr / polybag. A2 empty bunch ash 500 gr/polybag, A4 empty bunch ash 750 gopolybag, and 2) Rice husk biochar dosage factor (B) consists of 3 levels, namely B0 Control (without rice husk charcoal biochar), B1 rice husk charcoal biochar 100 gr/polybag, B2 rice husk charcoal biochar 200 gr/polybag, each treatment level was repeated 2 (two) times, with observation parameters of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, and root length. From the results of this study, it was obtained 1) The provision of empty bunch ash had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, but had no significant effect on the growth of stem diameter and root length, 2) the provision of rice husk charcoal biochar had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves. Stem diameter and root length, 3) the combination of the two treatment factors had no significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area and root length.
