Pengaturan Perdagangan Orang diatur didalam Pasal 1 angak 1 Undang-Undang Nomor 21 tahun 2007 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang. The problem of human trafficking is no longer a new thing, but has become a protracted national and international problem, which until now has not been able to be addressed properly, both by the governments of each country, or by international organizations authorized to handle the problem of human trafficking. The regulation of Human Trafficking is regulated in Article 1 number 1 of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Human Trafficking. In general, the allocation of Human Trafficking is the desire to be able to improve one's economy based on the criteria and forms of exploitation that will be felt by people who become victims of Human Trafficking Based on the report of the Human Trafficking Task Force (TPPO) in 2023, there were at least 864 reports during the period of June 5–September 21, 2023. Based on this report, the TPPO Task Force has named 1,014 (One Thousand and Fourteen) people as suspects in the crime of human trafficking. With the development of the modus operandi of the Crime of Human Trafficking (TPPO) which is diverse, it is considered necessary to conduct research that discusses and examines how the modus operandi of the Crime of Human Trafficking (TPPO) has developed from a juridical, criminological and comparative perspective with existing legal regulations in Indonesia. |
