| Abstract: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis berbagai faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat determinan produksi petani kopi arabika di wilayah Karo, Sumatera Utara. Faktor-faktor yang dianalisis meliputi varietas kopi, tinggi tempat penanaman, manajemen perkebunan, teknik panen seta penyimpanan, pengolahan dan penyortiran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian regresi linier, uji validitas dan uji realibitas. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan ekplanatory survey dengan kusioner yang terdiri dari 3 kelompok tani di masing-masing Kabupaten yang berjumlah 175 sampel yang semuanya merupakan petani kopi di wilayah yang menjadi objek penelitian. Serta 20 orang pedagang pengepul. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari lima faktor determinan produksi yang dianalisis, varietas kopi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan nyata terhadap determinan produksi kopi. Selain varietas kopi, faktor-faktor lain seperti tinggi tempat penanaman, manajemen perkebunan, teknik panen seta penyimpanan, pengolahan dan penyortiran. juga berpengaruh terhadap determinan produksi. Kabupaten Karo memiliki 2 saluran pemasaran, saluran I meliputi petani – Pengepul- pelaku usaha dan saluran II hanya antara petani dan pelaku usaha . Dimana saluran I memiliki margin sebesar Rp.104.000 dan saluran pemasaran II memiliki margin sebesar Rp. 35.000. The purpose of this study was to analyze various factors that influence the level of determinants of Arabica coffee farmer production in the Karo region, North Sumatra. The factors analyzed include coffee varieties, planting height, plantation management, harvesting techniques and storage, processing and sorting. The method used in this study is linear regression, validity test and reliability test. The sampling technique in this study was an explanatory survey with a questionnaire consisting of 3 farmer groups in each district totaling 175 samples, all of whom were coffee farmers in the area that was the object of the study. As well as 20 traders and collectors. The results of this study indicate that of the five production determinants analyzed, coffee varieties have a significant and real influence on coffee production determinants. In addition to coffee varieties, other factors such as planting height, plantation management, harvesting techniques and storage, processing and sorting also affect production determinants. Karo Regency has 2 marketing channels, channel I includes farmers - collectors - business actors and channel II only between farmers and business actors. Where channel I has a margin of Rp. 104,000 and marketing channel II has a margin of Rp. 35,000. |
