| Abstract: | Kenikir merupakan tanaman hijauan utama pakan ternak yang memegang peranan amat penting, karena hijauan mengandung hampir semua zat yang di perlukan hewan Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dosis terbaik POC limbah pasar terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) secara Faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu Dosis Pupuk ampas tahu (notasi A) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan,yakni A0 : kontrol, A1 : 300 g/tanaman, A2 : 350 g/tanaman, A3 : 400 g/tanaman dan pestisida nabati serai wangi (notasi S) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan ,yakni S0 : Kontrol, S1 : 25 ml/l, S2 : 50 ml/l, S3 : 75 ml/l. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm), panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah hama dan pesentase serangan (%) dan bobot produksi rumput gajah (kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk ampas tahu, pestisida nabati ekstrak serai wangi dan kombinasi antara perlakuan pupuk ampas tahu dan pestisida nabati ekstrak sera wangi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm), panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah hama dan pesentase serangan (%) dan bobot produksi rumput gajah (kg). Kenikir is the main forage plant for animal feed which plays a very important role, because the forage contains almost all the substances that animals need. The aim of this research is to determine the best dose of market waste POC on the growth and production of elephant grass plants (Pennisetum purpureum). This research was conducted at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Medan Area University using a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of two treatment factors, namely Dosage of Tofu Dregs Fertilizer (notation A) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely A0: control, A1: 300 g/plant, A2: 350 g/plant, A3: 400 g/plant and citronella vegetable pesticide (S notation) which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely S0: Control, S1: 25 ml/l, S2: 50 ml /l, S3 : 75 ml/l. Observations were made on plant height (cm), leaf length, leaf width, number of pests and attack percentage (%) and elephant grass production weight (kg). The results of the research showed that the application of tofu dregs fertilizer, citronella extract vegetable pesticide and a combination of tofu dregs fertilizer and fragrant citronella extract vegetable pesticide had no significant effect on plant height (cm), leaf length, leaf width, number of pests and attack percentage (% ) and weight of elephant grass production (kg). |
