| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dengan kedisiplinan pada siswa kelas X dan XI di SMAN 1 Sei Balai Batubara. jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 49 siswa. dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purpossive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala Konsep diri dan skala kedisiplinan siswa. Adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Product Moment diketahui Rxy = 0,498 dengan signifikan p = 0,000< 0,05. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antar kedua variabel yaitu variabel X dan Y sebesar 0,348. Artinya bahwa semakin tinggi konsep diri maka semakin kedisiplinan pada siswa. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan pada penelitian ini diterima. Sumbangan efektif variabel konsep diri dengan kedisiplinan sebesar 34,8%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik kedisiplinan pada siswa dengan kategori tinggi dengan mean hipotetik sebesar 96,00 dan mean empirik sebesar 74,720. Konsep diri dengan kategori tinggi dengan mean hipotetik sebesar 87,05 dan mean empirik sebesar 84,122. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and discipline in class X and XI students at SMAN 1 Sei Balai Batubara. The type of research used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 49 students. and sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the self-concept scale and student discipline scale. The validity test uses content validity, which obtains valid scale item coefficients. The data analysis method used in this research is Product Moment Correlation. Based on the results of the Product Moment analysis, it is known that Rxy = 0.498 with a significant p = 0.000 < 0.05. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between work discipline and service quality is 0.348. This means that the higher the self-concept, the more discipline the student will have. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this research is accepted. The effective contribution of the self-concept variable to discipline is 34.8%. Meanwhile, the remaining percentage was caused by other factors not explained by the researchers. Based on the results of calculating the hypothetical mean and empirical mean, work discipline is in the high category with a hypothetical mean of 88.08 and an empirical mean of 74,720.
