dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji secara empiris tentang Perbedaan kepuasan kerja antara karyawan tetap dan karyawan kontrak di PDAM Tirta Deli Kab. Deli serdang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 67 karyawan. Dengan hipotesis: ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan tetap dan karyawan tidak tetap di PDAM Tirta Deli. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan metode skala likert dengan menggunakan skala kepuasan kerja menurut Robbins (dalam sopiah, 2008) kepuasan kerja terdiri dari : Upah/gaji, Pekerjaan, Promosi, Pengawasan/penyeliaan, Rekan kerja. Setelah dilakukan analisis data maka diperoleh hasil penelitian: ada terdapat perbedaan kepuasan kerja karyawan tetap dan karyawan kontrak yang signifikan. Hasil ini diketahui dengan melihat nilai atau koefisien perbedaan Anava F = 42,574 dengan koefisien signifikansi 0,000. Hal ini berarti nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 0,050. Hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Berdasarkan perbandingan kedua nilai rata-rata (hipotetik dan empirik), maka dapat dinyatakan kepuasan kerja karyawan tetap lebih tinggi karena mean empiriknya 109,88 dan karyawan kontrak memiliki kepuasan kerja rendah karena mean empiriknya 94,04. This study aims to observe the difference in job satisfaction between the permanent employees and the contract employees in PDAM Tirta Deli Kab. Deli Serdang. The research sample was 67 employees. The hypothesis is the following: there is a difference in the job satisfaction of permanent employees and non-permanent employees at PDAM Tirta Deli. This research is organized based on the Likert scale method using the job satisfaction scale by Robbins (in Sopiah, 2008). The job satisfaction level can be influenced by wages/salaries, tasks, promotions, supervision, and co-workers. After analyzing the data, we obtained the following result: there are significant differences in job satisfaction between the permanent employees and the contract employees. This result was observed by looking at the value or coefficient of the difference of AnovaF = 42,574 with a significance coefficient of 0.000. This means that the significance value obtained is less than 0.050, therefore, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Based on the comparison of the two average values (hypothetical and empirical), it can be stated that the job satisfaction of permanent employees is higher with the empirical means of 109.88, and the contract employees' job satisfaction level is lower with the empirical means of 94.04.en_US
