Analisis Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Umum Pada Rute Medan-Sibuhuan Menggunakan Metode Analytic Hierarchy Process

Abstract

Transportasi umum berperan penting dalam menunjang mobilitas masyarakat pada rute Medan–Sibuhuan. Pada rute ini, pengguna dihadapkan pada pilihan moda bus dan minibus Hiace yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda dari segi biaya, waktu tempuh, kenyamanan, aksesibilitas, dan keamanan. Perbedaan tersebut menuntut adanya analisis untuk mengetahui preferensi pengguna dalam memilih moda transportasi yang paling sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan moda transportasi terbaik serta menganalisis preferensi pengguna terhadap bus dan minibus Hiace pada rute Medan–Sibuhuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner kepada pengguna kedua moda. Analisis dilakukan dengan perbandingan berpasangan untuk memperoleh bobot prioritas setiap kriteria dan alternatif moda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor keamanan dan aksesibitas merupakan kriteria paling berpengaruh dengan bobot sebesar 24%, diikuti oleh biaya sebesar 21%, kenyamanan 17%, dan waktu tempuh 15%. Berdasarkan sintesis bobot prioritas global, moda bus memperoleh bobot sebesar 60%, sedangkan minibus Hiace memperoleh bobot sebesar 40%, sehingga moda bus menjadi pilihan utama pengguna pada rute Medan–Sibuhuan. Public transportation plays an important role in supporting community mobility on the Medan–Sibuhuan route. On this route, users are faced with a choice between bus and Hiace minibus modes, which have different characteristics in terms of travel cost, travel time, comfort, accessibility, and safety. These differences necessitate an analysis to determine user preferences in selecting the most appropriate mode of transportation. This study aims to determine the best transportation mode and to analyze user preferences between bus and Hiace minibus services on the Medan–Sibuhuan route.The method employed in this study is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), using primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to users of both transportation modes. The analysis was conducted using pairwise comparisons to determine the priority weights of each criterion and transportation alternative. The results indicate that safety and accessibility are the most influential criteria, each with a weight of 24%, followed by travel cost (21%), comfort (17%), and travel time (15%). Based on the synthesis of global priority weights, the bus mode obtained a weight of 60%, while the Hiace minibus obtained 40%, indicating that the bus is the preferred transportation mode for users on the Medan–Sibuhuan route.
