Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanda-tanda berupa Representamen (Sign), Object, dan interpretant dalam film “Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan” merepresentasikan peran Sore sebagi ibu rumah tangga dan juga dapat mengetahui peran Perempuan khususnya peran ibu rumah tangga sangat penting pada film “Sore: Istri Dari Masa Depan”. Fokus utama penelitian adalah melihat bagaimana film ini mengonstruksi urgensi peran domestik perempuan dalam lingkup keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggambaran Sore telah memenuhi standar representasi perempuan yang tidak kompleks secara visual namun kaya secara makna. Melalui sosok Sore, aktivitas rutin seperti memasak dan merawat kesehatan suami dimaknai sebagai simbol komunikasi untuk menciptakan stabilitas emosional dan kesehatan keluarga. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh bahwa representasi peran perempuan telah mengalami rekonstruksi signifikan dari sekadar pelaksana domestik menjadi agen perubahan strategis dalam keluarga. This study aims to determine the signs in the form of Representamen (Sign), Object, and interpretant in the film "Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan" representing Sore's role as a housewife and also to find out the role of women, especially the role of housewives is very important in the film "Sore: Istri Dari Masa Depan". The main focus of the study is to see how this film constructs the urgency of women's domestic roles in the family sphere. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis, data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the depiction of Sore has met the standards of women's representation that is not visually complex but rich in meaning. Through the figure of Sore, routine activities such as cooking and caring for her husband's health are interpreted as symbols of communication to create emotional stability and family health. The conclusion obtained is that the representation of women's roles has undergone significant reconstruction from merely domestic implementers to agents of strategic change in the family.
