This study aims to determine the factors influencing consumptive behavior in makeup purchases among followers of the Oh My Beauty Bank (OMBB) account on social media platform X. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 158 respondents selected through the accidental sampling technique, and data were collected using an online questionnaire. The research instrument was a consumptive behavior scale constructed based on consumer behavior theory by Kotler and Armstrong (2018) using a Likert scale. The validity and reliability test results showed that 26 items were valid and reliable (r > 0.3; α > 0.7). The data were also normally distributed 32 item with a significance value of p = 0.523 (> 0.05). The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test result showed a value of 0.699 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that the data were suitable for factor analysis. Based on the factor analysis results, four main factors were found to influence consumptive behavior: personal factors (34%), social factors (30%), psychological factors (27%), and cultural factors (9%). Personal factors were identified as the most dominant factor influencing consumptive behavior among OMBB followers, while cultural factors contributed the least. | en_US |
