This research aims to determine the correlation between self efficacy and work engagement among special education teachers. The research subjects were teachers at SLB Negeri Serdang Bedagai, SLB-A YAPENTRA Tanjung Morawa, and SLB Negeri Autis Sumatera Utara. The population and sample size in this study were 90 teachers, determined using total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using two instruments, the Teacher Self Efficacy Scale and the Work Engagement Scale. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.814 with a significance of p = 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self efficacy and work engagement. This indicates that the higher the teachers' self efficacy, the higher their work engagement. Conversely, the lower the self efficacy, the lower the teachers' work engagement. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted. Self efficacy contributes 66.2% to work engagement, while the remaining 33.8% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this research.
