| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh work-life balance terhadap work engagement dengan perceived organizational support sebagai variabel moderator pada karyawan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Skala Work-Life Balance, Skala Perceived Organizational Support, dan Skala Work Engagement. This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance on work engagement, with perceived organizational support as a moderating variable among employees. Work engagement is a positive psychological state characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption in work. This research employs an explanatory quantitative approach using a total sampling technique. The research subjects consist of 179 employees of PT BJ located in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra. Data were collected using the Work-Life Balance Scale, Perceived Organizational Support Scale, and Work Engagement Scale. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on work engagement (β = 0.395). In addition, perceived organizational support also has a positive and significant effect on work engagement (β = 0.255). The moderation analysis shows that perceived organizational support strengthens the effect of work-life balance on work engagement (β = 0.656). The research model demonstrates good explanatory power, where 60.0% of the variance in work engagement can be explained by work-life balance and perceived organizational support, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors outside the research model. |
