| dc.description.abstract | Kultur jaringan merupakan teknik perbanyakan tanaman yang efektif untuk menghasilkan bibit pisang barangan (Musa acuminata L.) dalam jumlah besar, seragam, dan bebas patogen. Induksi kalus sebagai tahapan penting dalam teknik ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh keseimbangan zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT), khususnya auksin dan sitokinin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran konsentrasi Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) dan Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) terhadap induksi dan pertumbuhan kalus pisang barangan secara in vitro melalui pendekatan systematic literature review. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai database ilmiah seperti Google Scholar dan ScienceDirect dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2015–2025. Dari 120 artikel yang ditemukan, sebanyak 25 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan dianalisis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi NAA dan BAP memberikan respon pertumbuhan yang lebih efektif dibandingkan penggunaan tunggal. Konsentrasi BAP 3–9 mg/L meningkatkan proliferasi tunas, sedangkan NAA 0,5–2,5 mg/L berperan dalam induksi kalus dan pembentukan akar. Kombinasi optimal berada pada kisaran 1–2 mg/L NAA dan 3–6 mg/L BAP. Dengan demikian, keseimbangan auksin dan sitokinin menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan kultur in vitro pisang barangan. Tissue culture is an effective plant propagation technique for producing large quantities of uniform, pathogen-free *Barangan* banana (*Musa acuminata* L.) plantlets. Callus induction—a crucial stage in this technique—is heavily influenced by the balance of plant growth regulators (PGRs), specifically auxins and cytokinins. This study aimed to examine the effects of Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) and Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) concentrations on the *in vitro* induction and growth of *Barangan* banana callus using a systematic literature review approach. Data were gathered from scientific databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect, covering publications from 2015 to 2025. Out of 120 identified articles, 25 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The results indicate that a combination of NAA and BAP yields a more effective growth response than the use of either hormone alone. BAP concentrations of 3–9 mg/L enhanced shoot proliferation, whereas NAA concentrations of 0.5–2.5 mg/L played a role in callus induction and root formation. The optimal combination ranged from 1–2 mg/L NAA to 3–6 mg/L BAP. Thus, the balance between auxins and cytokinins is a key factor in the successful *in vitro* culture of *Barangan* bananas. | en_US |
