| Abstract: | Indonesia merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat aktivitas seismik yang tinggi sehingga bangunan gedung, khususnya bangunan vital seperti rumah sakit, harus memiliki kinerja struktur yang memadai terhadap beban gempa. Salah satu elemen struktur yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan ketahanan gempa adalah dinding geser (shear wall). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis pushover untuk membandingkan kinerja struktur Gedung RSU Madani di Medan antara kondisi eksisting yang menggunakan shear wall dan kondisi tanpa shear wall dengan bantuan perangkat lunak ETABS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada bangunan dengan shear wall, nilai displacement maksimum pada arah X sebesar 97,484 mm dengan base shear sebesar 19.768,6296 kN, sedangkan pada arah Y displacement maksimum sebesar 210,834 mm dengan base shear sebesar 11.260,0992 kN. Nilai drift atap berdasarkan ATC-40 masing-masing sebesar 0,00538 pada arah X dan 0,000199 pada arah Y, yang termasuk dalam level kinerja Immediate Occupancy. Berdasarkan FEMA 440, nilai drift ratio atap bangunan dengan shear wall adalah 0,0591% pada arah X dan 0,0230% pada arah Y, yang juga berada pada level kinerja Immediate Occupancy. Sedangkan bangunan tanpa shear wall, displacement maksimum pada arah X sebesar 210,834 mm dengan base shear sebesar 11.260,099 kN, sedangkan pada arah Y sebesar 205,719 mm dengan base shear sebesar 10.530,5803 kN. Nilai drift atap berdasarkan ATC-40 masing-masing sebesar 0,00294 pada arah X dan 0,000236 pada arah Y dengan level kinerja Immediate Occupancy. Berdasarkan FEMA 440, nilai drift ratio atap sebesar 0,0567% pada arah X dan 0,0654% pada arah Y, yang juga berada pada level kinerja Immediate Occupancy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur bangunan dengan dinding geser memiliki kinerja seismik yang lebih baik dibandingkan bangunan tanpa dinding geser. Indonesia is a region with a high level of seismic activity; therefore, building structures, particularly vital facilities such as hospitals, must possess adequate structural performance against earthquake loads. One of the structural elements that plays an important role in improving seismic resistance is the shear wall. This study applies the pushover analysis method to compare the structural performance of the RSU Madani Hospital Building in Medan between the existing condition with shear walls and a condition without shear walls, using ETABS software. The analysis results indicate that for the building with shear walls, the maximum displacement in the X-direction is 97.484 mm with a base shear of 19,768.6296 kN, while in the Y-direction the maximum displacement is 210.834 mm with a base shear of 11,260.0992 kN. The roof drift values based on ATC-40 are 0.00538 in the X-direction and 0.000199 in the Y-direction, which fall within the Immediate Occupancy performance level. Based on FEMA 440, the roof drift ratios of the building with shear walls are 0.0591% in the X-direction and 0.0230% in the Y-direction, also categorized as Immediate Occupancy. Meanwhile, for the building without shear walls, the maximum displacement in the X-direction is 210.834 mm with a base shear of 11,260.099 kN, while in the Y-direction it is 205.719 mm with a base shear of 10,530.5803 kN. The roof drift values based on ATC-40 are 0.00294 in the X-direction and 0.000236 in the Y-direction, corresponding to the Immediate Occupancy performance level. According to FEMA 440, the roof drift ratios are 0.0567% in the X-direction and 0.0654% in the Y-direction, which are also within the Immediate Occupancy level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that building structures with shear walls exhibit better seismic performance than buildings without shear walls. |
