The Implementation Of Khuluqiyah Values By Islamic Education Teachers In Preventing Bullying Among Students

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this research is for Islamic Religious Education (MYP) teachers to investigate the implementation of Khuluqiyah values in the prevention of bullying among seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 2. Theoretical Framework: In an attempt to curb bullying, this research aims to apply the values of MYP Khuluqiyah teachers, who seek solutions to the problem of bullying. Method: The research uses a qualitative method and has a descriptive framework to determine the accuracy and effectiveness of the implementation of the Khuluqiyah values to prevent bullying among students. Data collection techniques include observation, intensive interviews, and documentation. The findings will be reinforced through validity testing and data analysis. Results and Discussion: The results of the study, there are three types of bullying in SMP Negeri 2, including physical, verbal, and relationship bullying. These behaviors can occur among some or all of the students in the school. Research Implications: The school's administration, through MYP teachers, has also established the values of Khuluqiyah as an effort to address this problem. However, there are still challenges that require a long process to obtain good results. Originality/Value: School and MYP teachers offer the following solutions publish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bullying management. Promote culture to avoid bullying. Encourage students to feel comfortable, sharing their experiences.
