Industrial Engineering is a discipline focused on the design, development, and improvement of integrated work systems involving people, machines, materials, methods, and the work environment. The approach employed in Industrial Engineering emphasizes not only technical aspects but also efficiency, productivity, and the overall sustainability of the system. Consequently, Industrial Engineering graduates are expected to understand real-world conditions and analyze various operational issues arising within the industrial sector. As the industrial sector in Indonesia evolves—particularly the palm oil processing industry—the need for effective production system management has become increasingly critical. The palm oil industry entails a long, interconnected series of processes, ranging from raw material intake to the production of final goods such as Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and kernels. Each stage of this process involves various machines and equipment operating continuously. The smooth execution of the production process relies heavily on coordination between workstations and the condition of the equipment being used.en_US
