| dc.description.abstract | This chapter aims to elaborate and discuss on professionalism and competency of amil in Malaysia and Indonesia. The study adopts a content analysis technique where various sources are referred including research database named Scopus, reports, official documents, and research articles. The chapter also explains on the research (active countries and affiliations in publishing research documents) of zakat management, professionalism, and competency of amil zakat in Malaysia and Indonesia. There are challenges related to the amil zakat where expectations are high and the impact of zakat on the economy is expected. Various keywords associated with zakat management which are importantly to be discussed by practitioners, academicians, and other stakeholders, in getting positive solutions to the countries. | en_US |
