Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Pakchoy (Brassica rapa L) dengan Berbagai Macam Media Tanam Secara Hidroponik

Abstract

The reasearch conducted at Kassa house, Faculty of Agriculture, in Medan Area University located on Kolam street no 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan districts with altitude of approximately 12 m above sea level, flat topography and alluvial soil types. This Reasearch was conducted from February to April 2013. This Reasearch is aims to determine the best type of planting medium system hydroponic plant growth and development are pakchoy. The Reasearch metode is a non- factorial completely randomized design ( CRD), namely: growth and production response pakchoy ( Brassica few L.) with 4 hydroponic growing media , namely: MT1= Sand, MT2 =Charcoal Husk, Rice Husk= MT3, and MT4 = Pakis. The Parameter observed is a growing percentage, percentage increase in plant height, number of leaves , fresh weight harvest, top fresh weight , weight wet roots , dry weight over dry weight root. The Reasearch showed that responses of growth and production plant of pakchoy with various hydroponic growing media showed different effects are not significant on parameters.
