dc.descriptionPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari asap cair dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Collectotrichum gloeosporioides pada tanaman karet (Hevea brasiliensis). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium proteksi dan rumah kaca Balai Penelitian Sungei Putih, kecamatan Galang, kabupaten Deli Serdang pada bulan Juli hingga September 2016.Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non-Faktorial yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan, yakni A0 : Kontrol (+), tanpa asap cair, A1 : Asap cair pada konsentrasi 0,5%, A2 : Asap cair pada konsentrasi 1%, A3 : Asap cair pada konsentrasi 1,5%, A4 : Asap cair pada konsentrasi 2%, A5 : Asap cair pada konsentrasi 2,5%, A6 : Fungisida berbahan aktif mankozeb pada konsentrasi 0,2%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi asap cair dari tempurung kelapa mampu menekan pertumbuhan patogen Collectotrichum gloeosporioides penyebab penyakit gugur daun Collectotrichum pada tanaman karet (Hevea brasiliensis). Penekanan intensitas serangan patogen Collectotrichum gloeosporioides terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan asap cair dengan konsentrasi 2,5% (A5) pada percobaan di rumah kaca. Sedangkan pada percobaan in vitro, pertumbuhan patogen Collectotrichum gloeosporioides terhambat pada perlakuan asap cair dengan konsentrasi 1,5 % (A3).en_US
dc.description.abstractThe research aims to know the effectiveness of liquid smoke to obstruct Collectotrichum gloeosporioides pathogen growness on the rubber plant (Hevea brasiliensis). The research was in the plant protection laboratory and green house of Sungei Putih Research Centre, at Galang, Deli Serdang district, on July to September 2016. The research used Non-Factorial Completely Random Design (CRD) in consisting 6 treatments, that was A0 : control (+), without liquid smoke, A1 : 0,5% concentrate of liquid smoke, A2 : 1% concentrate of liquid smoke, A3 : 1,5% concentrate of liquid smoke, A4 : 2% concentrate of liquid smoke, A5 : 2,5% concentrate of liquid smoke, and A6 : 0,2 % concentrate of mancozeb content fungicide. The result showed that the application of liquid smoke from coconut shall can obstruct Collectotrichum gloeosporioides pathogen growing as caused of Collectotrichum leaf fall disease on rubber plant (Hevea brasiliensis). The best of attacking intensity obstruction of the Collectotrichum gloeosporioides pathogen showed at 2,5% concentrate of liquid smoke treatment (A5) in green house experiment. The other of that, at the in vitro experiment, Collectotrichum gloeosporioides pathogen growness obstructed by 1,5% concentrate of liquid smoke treatment (A3).en_US
