Hubungan Komunikasi Guru Dengan Prestasi ASI Belajar di SMA N 1 Padang Tualang

Abstract

This study aims to determine and prove the relationship of teacher communication with student achievement in SMA N 1 Padang Tualang. Learning achievement is the result obtained by students after learning activities in a certain period and usually the result of this learning achievement in the form of numbers that can be seen through a book that contains the results of the learning process or the value of raport figures. Communication is as a form of delivering messages from informen to communicant by using symbols systematically. Hypothesis in this research is there is correlation between teacher communication with student achievement. The better the teacher communication then the student's learning achievement will also be better and conversely the less good communication with the student's teacher will be the lower student achievement. Measurement of teacher communication using Likert scale, while for learning achievement through the value of report cards. This study involved 58 students of grade XI SMA N 1 Padang Tualang. The sampling technique used is raindom sampling because the population is large enough so that researchers only take 20% of the population and the sample is taken from the odd number of absences to be sampled. The result of this research can be concluded that there is significant correlation between X-Y variable, obtained rxy = 0,673; p = 0,000 <0.01 which means the hypothesis is accepted. The effective contribution of teacher communication to student achievement of 45.3%
