Kematangan Emosi Remaja Korban Bullying

Abstract

This study concerns the late adolescents who receive bullying treatment from the surrounding environment. This study aims to see emotional maturity in adolescents as a result of the treatment of bullying it receives. emotional maturity is a state or condition to achieve maturity levels of emotional development such as children, emotional maturity is often associated with emotional control. A person who has matured his emotions will have richness and diversity in expressing his emotions as well as the appropriateness of emotions and good emotional control. So this means that one's emotional responses will be adjusted to the stimulus situation, but the expression remains attentive to social decency. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Method of taking data in this research based on theory, or based on operational construct (theory based / operational construct sampling). Respondents were 3 teenagers aged 20 to 21 years old. This research has successfully identified two main themes: how bullying impacts on teenagers in bully and how emotional maturity of teen bully victims is taken from their characteristics in accordance with Khairani theory (2011). The results obtained from this study are the impact received from the victim such as anxiety and depression resulting from receiving the bullying treatment. Lastly on the emotional maturity of each respondent has 2 aspects of the same is the aspect of providing different responses on any information that affects his emotions and the ability to consider and start alternatives - other alternatives, from the 6 aspects proposed by KhairaniMakmun (2011) in reflecting the respondents are said to mature or not,so it can be concluded that bullying teens have mature emotional maturity
