Abstract: This research is quantitative research that aims to examine the relationship between employee engagement with work productivity. Based on the theoretical framework, the researcher proposed a hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between employee engagement with work productivity. The samples of this research involve 50 lathe employees of PT. Paloh Singkwang Stabat which were choosen by using total sampling technique. The scale to measure the employee engagement arranged by the employee engagement characteristics according to Schaufeli 2006. While work productivity scale arranged by productive individual characteristic according to Sedarmayanti in Yulanda, 2013. Data analysis method used product moment correlation which obtained the result that is Rxy = 0,634 ; p = 0,000 < 0,050. It means that there is positive relationship between employee engagement with work productivity. Employee engagement gives the contribution to work productivity that is R2 = 0.402. It means that employee engagement affects the work productivity by 40.2 %. The researcher assumes that the totality of lathe employees of PT. Paloh Singkwang Stabat have the high employee engagement hypothetical mean is 70 < empirical mean is 92,62. The work productivity is high too hypothetical mean is 100 < empirical mean is 129.30
Description: Penelitian kuantitatif ini adalah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara employee engagement dengan produktivitas kerja. Hipotesis penelitian berbunyi terdapat hubungan positif antara employee engagement dengan produktivitas kerja. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 50 karyawan bubut PT. Paloh Singkwang Stabat dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur employee engagement disusun berdasarkan karakteristik employee engagement menurut Schaufeli 2006. Sedangkan skala produktivitas kerja disusun berdasarkan ciri-ciri individu produktif menurut Sedarmayanti dalam Yulanda, 2013. Metode analisis data adalah Korelasi Product Moment. Diperoleh hasil dimana Rxy = 0,634 ; p = 0,000 < 0,050. Yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara employee engagement dengan produktivitas kerja. Employee engagement memberikan kontribusi terhadap produktivitas kerja sebesar R2 = 0,402. Ini berarti 40,2% employee engagement mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja. Serta secara umum karyawan bubut PT. Paloh Singkwang Stabat diasumsikan mempunyai employee engagement yang tinggi mean hipotetik 70 < mean empirik 92.62. Begitu juga dengan produktivitas kerja dinyatakan tinggi mean hipotetik 100 < mean empirik 129.30
