Hubungan Lingkungan Sekolah Dengan Motivasi Belajar Di Smk Multimedia Pencawan Medan

Abstract

The motivation of learning is an impetus on the individual that occurs because of factors intrinsic or extrinsic, which encourages individuals to undertake learning activities that made him the spirit and delight in learning so that the desired goals can be achieved. Many factors can affect the motivation of learning, one of whom is the school environment. The environment is a very influential factors towards the motivation of students to learn. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between the school environment with learning motivation on student’s SMK Multimedia Pencawan Medan. The subject of research is 63 students. Measuring instrument used learning motivation scale and school environment scale. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Based on the results of the analysis Product moment gleaned coefficients correlation rxy = 0.482 with p < 0,05 it means there is a positive correlation between learning motivation and school environment. Effective contribution towards school environment variable of learning motivation 23.2%. This means 76.8% there are still other factors influencing learning motivation on students outside of the school environment variables
